WHY SHOULD NEURODIVERGENT INFORMED TREATMENT TEAMS VALUE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY?
Occupational therapy is so new and I’ve really been drawn towards these non-traditional settings. I think that there’s so much room for occupational therapists in this world and the value that we’re able to bring to people’s lives, and that’s why I thought that just like we’re able to see a primary care physician, I think it’s really helpful to be able to see a primary care occupational therapists that’s able to help you when the doctor might throw a diagnosis at you, but what next? And so the occupational therapist is able to help you really bring in those lifestyle modifications and adaptations that are necessary in order to live a fulfilling and engaging life.
