CLINICAL SPECIALIZATION
Dr. Schwartz is an expert and thought leader in neurodivergent affirming treatment, psychological testing, and empowered living. Dr. Schwartz specialization is working with neurodivergent individuals from a primarily humanistic, acceptance based, and existential perspective. His training was primarily in psychodynamic psychotherapy and trauma therapy. In addition, Dr. Schwartz has performed over 250 psychological evaluations for people of all ages and in many different settings – inpatient hospitals, schools, clinics, and even prisons. His orientation in both treatment and assessment is collaborative, relying on the lived experience of his clients to inform interventions and assessment results. Dr. Schwartz is recognized nationally as a trainer in both psychological assessment and working with neurodivergent people (particularly Autistic and ADHD individuals and their families).
